With 10 years experience running a range of events and delivering environmental education within schools, Ranger Dan is able to offer a diverse range of events and activities to primary and secondary age children. In the last 2 years Dan has delivered environmental educational to over 10,000 children across Cheshire East. With a broad range of habitat, wildlife and environmental knowledge, Ranger Dan can provide a tailor made activity or project for schools, community groups or individuals. From Bushcraft skills and Den Building through to river studies and mini-beast hunting, Ranger Dan offers many different activities and services. Ranger Dan is also able to offer woodland birthday parties, fun filled outdoor experiences any child will love. Ranger Dan is a big kid at heart and in the birthday party setting his true fun side is unleashed! A typical Ranger Dan birthday party will see the kids playing hide & seek in the bracken, den building, collecting fire wood and watching Ranger Dan light the fire (older children can also be taught fire lighting skills using fire steels) learning how to whittle wood, playing on rope swings and eating pizza which has been cooked over an open fire, with toasted marshmallows for pudding! The latest birthday party experience children of all ages love and many of the parents can't resist a little go at whittling too!
